Well, Hello People, How is everyone doing, me okay, but i have a few question for whom ever can help me, okay, My husband in 29 palm for training, his MOS, and he get his first, Duty station On the 18 of July, now what am i suppose to do hear, learn, take, what ? am so confuse, yes i am a little nervous, cause i heard that some marine wives do go where there duty station is at. and a other question, like we don't have like furniture and other thing we need do they help with that, our do we have to get them now. i don't know i have a lots of question, so we will start off with these. thank you
Well, your post is a little confusing, but I'll help the best I can...I'm an ARMY wife, but its just about the same rules They definitely don't help with furniture...you have to provide material things for yourself. Once you get ***igned to a duty station, he will get orders for you to come. In the army they have 10 days to find a place to live, wether it be on or off post, should be about the same for you all. Your husband will get what's called BAH (housing allowance) so if you live off post, that should help, if not pay for your rent/utilities....if you live on post then it's taken right back out of your check and you don't have anything to pay except cable, phone, etc.....
