Yes, once you enlist into the military, every day is paid. Leave will be charged during that time frame so you will be in the hole for leave when you graduate basic.

You earn 30 days of leave per year. You will not have been in the military long enough to actually have 14 days of leave on the books.
So, you take the 14 days leave and go on exodus but will be "in the hole" on leave. Meaning you still need to work to earn those days.
