I have a family member in the army, but also have a friend whose daughter just finished up her MOS in the Marines. She was an honor graduate and I was wondering what that means. Does one have to make and maintain a certain grade in their classwork to be an honor graduate in their MOS? Thanks for your answers!

I realize that this answer is WAY late - but hope it helps.

the honor graduate is the person who finishes their MOS school with the highest scores. They are "top of the class" if you will. There are sometimes benefits like promotion, but mostly just a certificate you can put in your perm record for promotion points.
