Hello! Smile
I went to college for 7 years to be a school counselor, was a high school counselor for one year...then moved with my husband to the middle of no where. Been jobless ever since. It's frustrating to work so hard and spend so much money on school and then not even be able to use your degree! But, I'm THRILLED to be with my hubby again! He has been in for a little over a year...
Nice to 'meet' you all! Excited to learn lots!!!!

Well, I figured I should check in while I am at it!

In addition to trying to understand the Active duty Navy life for the sake of my marriage, I am also a member of the OHANG, and a full-time student at OSU.

It is overwhelming how awesome everyone has been so far, this is probably the most support i have felt since my husband left. So glad I found the forum!

Suppose I should say a little about myself too. I am married to a wonderful man who is in basic training in the Air Force. We have one son who is our greatest accomplishment.

Hmm my avatar looks crappy, I'll work on it. Razz

I'm all around new ---> new wife.. and husband just left for AF basic two weeks ago.. So I'm looking for people to subside my anxiety. I'm usually a pretty strong woman, but this is definately different and I'm realizing really quick the normal people I rely on, really aren't what I need!
