Hello all. I'm not new to the Army or this site but I am a new wife. My husband just left for pre-mob and I thought I could use some "brothers/sisters-in-arms" and figured this was the right place to start. I feel like I'm starting on a tough road and could use some support...

I had kind of never got around to checking in here. I have been posting for a little bit now. I am not so good about talking about myself. You can learn a little bit if you choose by looking at my profile. I do have a couple personal web pages on my profile. Up to you if you look at them or not. For that matter, you dont even have to look at my profile obviously. Looking foward to greeting new friends here. Be well all.

Hi everyone! Newbie Navy wife checking in Smile Everyone seems to be really supportive here, which is what I really need sometimes. Hopefully these discussions will introduce me to some other wives in Hawaii and in other locations who can relate to exactly how I feel when the love of my life is gone...

Hello Smile

I'm new here but not to the military. My husband has been in the Army almost 3 years (married for 1.5) and is in the sandbox so I spend lots of my time on the computer trying to educate myself about what to expect for the future.

I am somewhat new to the forums. I have been quietly lurking and learning about how things work here. I am an army wife for 8 yrs now. DH is currently deployed. Our DD has loved living with her grandparents this past year.

Hello, my name is Sandra and I am new here. I am not in the military but looking for someone who is. The details are in my profile...I'm not quite sure how much to post here. I don't have his last name but I do have a photo of him sleeping on the train where we met. Smile I don't normally go searching for people but this Soldier made an impression and I would like to contact him.

Hi,
My name is Lynn and I am new to this forum. I am opinionated and although I'm not as computer literate as I would like, I have already contributed. I'm glad I found this place for support and a safe place to vent. DH is deployed. He is at the mob station and goes to Iraq for one year{so far) with the Guard. He was gone most all of 2004 with the Guard and I wish I had known about this site then. I have cut down my hours in my health care related field in order to care for my home and my teenage son, so I'm also getting used to a homemaking role. Smile

Hello all,
My name is Kristie and I am new here. I am married to a wonderful man who happens to be in the Army. I am learning all of the ins and outs of it, but still have a lot to learn. I am newly married about a month and a half and he was called to deploy two weeks after the wedding. I am excited about the chance to have this support. I look forward to talking to everyone.

Hi, my name is Chaise been married to my husband Ryan for a year this week. He left a week and a half ago for his first deployment, all this is very new, and very stressful but I thought I would start to learn as much as I can now as he wants to make a career out of the military when he gets back. He is National Guard now.

Hello Everybody,
I am just checking in and introducing my self.
My Husband of one year is USGC and has been for 7yrs. We were stationed in ME just one month after we were married and we don't have any children. We do have a dog, she is a Yorkie and her name is LulaBelle she is just over a year old.
I am a bonafide Millitary Brat to be more specific my Father was a Marine, my Grandfather was Navy, other grandfather was Army and one Uncle in the Navy and another was Air Force.
I am an only child and I guess it was only normal that my Husband be USCG.lol

I am the daughter of a WWII vet. My father is 87 years old with severe dementia now. I would love to talk to someone that might have some insight into some benefits for my father or that can at least point me in the right direction. Hope to hear from you soon, L
