He told me that he was joining the military boot camp at the beginning of August, and I have not heard from him since.
I have contacted a lot of people and shared his name but nobody knows nothing. The commissioner of NC also checked all branches of the military and told us that he is not in there. Does that include basics? Do they have names of all that are in basics/boot camp?

From the moment you arrive and paperwork is finished they have a record for everyone.

You can continue to search for him in each branch but you have to consider he may not have joined.

I'm sorry you are going through this. As a parent I think the worst thing would be not knowing where you child is and how they are.

Have you contacted the police? The recruiters where your son would have joined?

I say the police because if he has not joined and you can not find him, the police may be able to help you.

I am sorry. This must be really troubling. I can't imagine...

If it were me and I had the money I would also consider hiring a private investigator if I had exhausted the channels I could use on my own (like the police, contacting the military...).

yeh but if its outta character and no one knows of any intentions while he may have buggered off without telling anyone there is sadly the chance something else could have happened, and after this period of time the police should look into it

have you had any luck Op finding him or trace of him?

No luck. He has not contacted any friends, family, etc. since July 29th. All everyone tells me is where they saw him last. The police have been working overtime on this to no avail.

If he went to basic contact the red cross that is the only way to contact soldiers in basic training for emergencies
