My son just left here this morning to head back to Ft. Benning, we had a nice 3 week visit! I'm really glad he was here when his dad left for Iraq, it has helped me alot.

But now he is on the road driving back from Ft. Hood and thats a long trip, so now i get to worry about him driving and also when he gets back to Ft. Benning and he's with his buddies whats he up too...lol Kids...lol

Then i recieved information about my husbands mission has changed and he is now going to a different FOB and i can'not find out any information about it, So i get to worry about that for awhile untill he can get me an address and i can start to make him some care packages to send over there.

My boys and I are going to drive to Mass to visit my family in two weeks (just waiting on the stimulous check to come in, recieved the letter it will arrive around the 5th) I have not been there for over 3 years, it's time to go! we want to stay at least a month, and by the time we get back, school should be starting up shortly after.

So by trying to stay busy i'm hopeing i will not worry so much and the time will go by quickly.

Ok i'm just rambling off to keep me from worrying about my 2 soldiers Smile

Everyone have a good day and keep smiling Big Grin

Goodness, no wonder we go gray so quick. LOL

I'll keep you and yours in my prayers, along with my DH who is currently at his mob station (1,000 miles away from us) then off to Iraq.
We're trying to keep busy here too. Going to plan a short trip for myself and the kids to Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun, about 4 hours away from here.

Have a great day!

Wow cool, My husband is from Woonsocket and 2 of my boys were born there, matter of fact i bet you it was the same recruiter station my husband went to 20 years ago when he joined the Navy!

I miss it over there alot, the last time i was there was i believe back in 05 for my broithers wedding, and we only stayed a week if that, but now i warned my parents that i'm going to be buggin them for a month...lol Gosh i feel like a little kid again going home and i'm 41...lol i'm just excited about seeing everyone again.

I want to also thank everyone for thier prayers, i believe prayers go along way and i want to extend my prayers out to everyone also. especially to our families here that have a deployed loved one.

I know where you're going! Spent a lot of time down in NH, Mass, CT, NJ and so forth for Drum Corps and Winter Guard competitions. I miss being in Maine! You should have a nice time up there.
