I am a Soldier based out of Fort Bragg and I attend a church off post. My preacher who is currently taking college course has a homework assignment to turn in and has asked me to help him out since I am in the Army. This homework is to do with the view in Military Chaplain. If you could take your time to answer the question and make your explanations about paragraph length. If you could also state your rank and last name if possible. The Homework instructions are as followed:

Interview at least 5-10 active duty persons and ask them to give you inputs on the Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats to a chaplain’s ministry. Write (type) a 5-7 page summing up their opinions. Give a summary on how you can improve your role as a chaplain based on their inputs.

This assignment does indeed have to do with fellow soldiers in general. The main focus is for a soldier to discuss or explain what kind of ways a Military Chaplain has ministered within his or her life.

However, if a Chaplain has never ministered within his or her life then they can explain what kind of viewpoint do they see the chaplain's ministry within the military?

This area is mainly family members, retirees, etc. Very few active duty members visit this section. You might get more input if you post this to the Army Forums somewhere.
