I just became the chaplain of my legion post.
This is something new for me and I was wondering if anyone knows where to find prayers and devoutions, etc. I want to do all that I can to help my fellow Veterans.

Salty... you need to talk with Roger. He's former military AND a pastor... I will see if I can get an email off to him and have him check this thread.

God bless you,
Amy

Hi SaltyGrunt. What is the general location of your legion post? I'm in central Illinois.

Personally I don't use what I call "canned prayers" as I beleive that prayers should come from the heart, simple and personal as we are to have a personal relationship with Christ.

There is a lot of wonderful material available for both active Military and Veterans. The following are some links to a little bit of it. If there is anything else I can do to help out please let me know. My prayers will be with you and your ministry.
