The story of a Chinese soldier, to all American soldiers

As a military man, we hold high regard towards the greatness of real warriors, whether he is a friend or foe. Like the Korean wars, although American had experienced when fought Chinese army, from the book which American wrote about the war, Americans had hold high regard for their Chinese counter-part. For the World War II , where British had been beaten by the Afrika Korp lead by Rommel . The British had praise Rommel highly in their books , although Rommel had been a formidable foe for them .

We are all soldiers , that unlike to civilian we have to face the struggle of life and death constanly . Thus, for the universal spirit of all military man whether in the east or the west, past or the present, the manly and soldierly temperament is the laurel that all of us adorn for,.

Now I am here to tell you a real story of Chinese soldier whom had fought Japanese in Sino-Japanese War . In response I like to know the heroic and touching tale which the US military man had perform either in the past or present .

The story went back in the Sino-Japanese war , Japan had invade China with a superior war machine that conclude superior weaponary and better trained soldier , China is on the verge of defeat , but Japanese still met their resistance constantly by which a quick finish of for China is nowhere possible .

One day , in a Hospital , there is a company commander wounded in action , A Japanese had put a bullet into his eye , so the situation for him is quite serious . His name is Liu .

So Liu had went to hospital for his treatment , The doctor is German . ( Maybe he had volunteer to work for Chinese during that era , like some American pilot did ) , so the that German doctor demand immediate surgical removal of the bullet and his entire eye ball to avoid infections .

And German doctor suggest the anesthetic has to be applied to the operation area . that is around his eye and forehead , but the anesthetic maybe debilitate the functioning of brain since it is very close . Then Liu said , Doctor , I am a company commander and I have to lead my man into actions , thus my brain needs to be all time alert , I cannot afford to let it being benumbed . I suggest operate without anesthetics .

Then the German doctors said , Mr Liu , I don’t think it is possible , and I doubt if you can endure the intense pain during to surgery , and if you start to struggle as pain causes it . It will made surgery impossible to carry on .

Then Liu said to the doctor he will remain as a mummy and without moving a finger . At his insistence , the Doctor had perform the operation , and Liu lay down still and grip both his hand on the bars . ( in China in old day is strange , the bed has iron Bars ) , the operation had go on about an hour , Liu remained sill without utter a sound , but there are sound between his hand and iron bar , since he try to secure himself from moving . Then the operation is over .

After the surgery , the Doctor had asked the Liu a question , The Doctor said , Mr . Liu , I am curious about one thing , can you answer me honestly ?? What were you thinking during the surgery really , can you tell me ?? That Liu said : Actually , I was counting your slashes that you made by your surgical knife . 72 Slashes in total .

Then the German doctor sighed in disbelieve and said : Mr Liu do you know , you are not mere mortal , you are not made in blood and flesh but a veritable war god made by iron , I personally had served German army for decades and had seen countless hideous wound , there is no one like you sir . I think you are real man , maybe only in Our Germany only exist one or two person like you .

The first time I read the story I was kind moved and want to ask myselves the question that maybe myself will not or ever acquire the spirit of Liu had possessed . It takes a lots of spirit and courage .

There's nothing wrong with mutual respect. A foe can earn that.
What Chinese generals are saying about us is something completely different, that and there is the ignorance and hatred which even Western Europe has for us, so what does that mean for US-China relations?

Hopefully, that we will keep a close eye on them and not just take them for their word.

Don't all soldiers help with disaster relief? Not only that, ours helped with disaster relief in other countries: Burma, Indonesia. The disgusting, traitorous press doesn't show it (and they often complain about living conditions when staying with us just for a week), but it still happens.

Also I have no doubt that there were brave Chinese who fought Japan. There are such heroes as can hardly be believed. John B Gordon took five yankee bullets at once at Antietam and was wounded as many times again as the war carried on. Still it's better we don't have to find out which Superpower has more such men by killing each other.

certainly every country should keep an eye on another country for any unexpected event or simple information gathering.

However, there is a borderline to that thinking.

The problem is you can tap as many lines as you want and spy on any nations, but make sure you do in secretly and not drawing the public attention.

once you bring in the public and let it go open, u are playing in a whole new ball field.

What do you mean spying? The Chinese sent their admirals to photograph our Aircraft Carriers. Traitors sold them our missile technology and probably a lot more. What are we supposed to not notice when a country incapable of making air to air missiles moves to making Nuclear Subs in twenty years?
And none of that even compares with selling them the Panama canal. Why build up a great fleet when you can hide millions of troops to the south of us, with the help of a few millions in bribes to whatever Dictators of the month rule in Central America. No there is something much different from the spy games of the cold war: It is national survival on the most primal scale. We have no choice: First hang the traitors, and then prepare to fight back against any aggression.

I am glad you asked that, as I was thinking about the same thing when i heard the WNPR broadcast news this morning.

The news said that US CIA has "recovered" a laptop used by Iranian scientists and within the laptop it has no evident of nuclear blueprint for nuclear weapons.

The news was about Syria has had a blueprint of nuclear warhead from indian or the patik from teh black market and it has been selling like a hot cake around the world.

How interestly that the news uses "recovery" of a laptop that clearly didn't belonged to CIA to begin with. We can argue whether it was or wasn't the right thing or for whatever reason.

bottomline, everyone spying on everyone to get certain info or to extract certain materials.

no need to get upset over it, just the way it is.

It isn't so much upsetting that nations spy...(yes, everyone does it, even to allies)...what is upsetting is when a citizen/corporation of a nation steals and sells national secrets to others. Traitors should be dealt with by execution, whether in time of war or peace. JMHO.

I believed there is a law called treason for those people.

I agreed those people should be executed.
