After all, American can not bear the equal loss as China for the non-core goods, such as Tibet and Taiwan.
I do not think US would like to "lose 100,000 lifes of US citizen" to defend such non-core goods for US, but Chinese would like to.

Sure, US is still much stronger than China in military field.
However, it is the same for a person to die one time as to die 10 times.

Anyway, I do hope US and China should be good friend! I like most of American, just like I like most of Chinese.

The image note syas that the missile is DF-31A ICBM. It is interesting that the nose of DF-31A has a small disk-shape device whose function isstill unknown. And this feature also proves the designation name of mystery launching ICBM in continuous shooting photos is also DF-31A. In 1999, the missile was first displayed publicly at the National Day Parade[2]. On August 2, 1999, the Chinese state news media reported the successful test of the DF-31. Western countries estimated that the upgraded missile, DF-31A, has a reported range of 11,200+ km.

And In early 2008 the US Defense Department reported to Congress that under 10 DF-31A missiles had been deployed. This image is the clearest photo of DF-31A, which never seen before!

China has the most active ballistic missile program in the world

China has several types of operational land-based ballistic missiles that are nuclear-capable: the medium-range DF-3 and DF-21/21X, intermediate-range DF-4, inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM) DF-5/5A, and (most recently deployed) DF-31/31A.

China confirms probe of US auto imports

China's commerce minister says Beijing is carrying out a probe of some imports of American-made autos.


Chen Deming, China's top trade official, said the investigation was based on requests from Chinese automakers.

He said the probe would be carried out in accord with Chinese laws and World Trade Organization rules.

His confirmation comes after the American Automotive Policy Council said U.S. officials had informed automakers about the probe.
