Seriously what the F* is wrong with the USA at the moment?

Do you people not realise that China is your greatest threat nobody is thinking about?
Nobody seems to realise that China is dead set on knocking the USA off its #1 Superpower spot.

Plus the outlook of average Chinese citizens is they HATE the USA and the local media here talks about the USA constantly and distorts stories to make it appear as though the USA is constantly on China's back.

How do I know all this?
Because I live in China and I get to see this every single day.
A populace that hates the USA and would love nothing better than for China to b*tch slap the USA.

A media that here that continues to whip up anti-USA sentiment. A government of liars and corrupt thieves.
Whats worse is the average chinese citizen loves their government and believes that China would teach the USA a lesson.

We all know thats not true....at the moment.

But if the USA keeps sitting on its fat a** and doesn't do anything about it one day you're going to wake up in the morning to the sound of your chinese boss saying

I think you should start watch US medias. They pretty much said the same thing about China what China said about US.

If anyone has seriously read up on China---they have the patience of JOB and yes, their goal is to get the US out of the playing field by any means they can and it's my guess it will be economically. A nuke war everyone loses and all the powers to be know that, but to slowly drain you (or drown you), by the time you realize it, you're a burnt piece of toast and aren't coming back. We do this to ourselves---look what we did to the Social Security system, Medicaid/Medicare system. If the middle east tea time folks suddenly cut off all our oil, we're dead meat for all practical purposes and once again, we've done this to ourselves. We've made it 200 hundred years so far---wanna take bets for a distant future. The terrorists? Dummies---they need to put on 3 piece suits, work their way into the "system" and cut off our oil. If you think those middle eastern countries are scared to death they're going to lose power, you'd be right--they are. Who are they really, a bunch of bearded boyz w/ tons of money and no way to protect it should someone with a gun want it. Oh, we'd fight for the oil as would Russia and China. In addittion get Japan and Taiwan geared up to protect themselves and project power to assist the USA.

Why the USA didn't take its chance and recognise Taiwan I'll never know.

The entire Chinese country would dissintegrate and Taiwan could pick up the pieces as Chinese people wouldn't have a serious issue with being Governed by Taiwan as opposed to USA because Taiwanese are still Chinese anyways really.

America's economy sits on 14 trillion worth of value.
Russia's around 2 trillion China is a shade under 4 trillion.
India's is under 2 trillion.

The EU Combined isn't even worth America's 14 trillion and even if it were it is NOT a single state unlike America.

So i'd say those facts speak for themselves. China is the only country capable of challenging the USA.

Have you thought putting all that energy and enthusiasm to good use by going back to Australia and joining the Australian Defense Force? Australia after all, is the nearest Western nation to the flashpoints of East and Southeast Asia, other than Russia which is not a US ally. While the US military has the monopoly of the major forces forward deployed to the region to counter a rising China, such as the USN 7th Fleet, and gets its support from other local allies such as the South Korean/ROK military and the Japanese Self-Defense Force, no one can deny that Australia will play a key role in a future war as another US ally in the region as it first did in World War II.

So therefore, think about it. I suggest you consider thinking about the Royal Australian Navy, since they are the only ADF service most likely to come in contact with China through port visits, etc. and exercises with the USN 7th Fleet.

I'm just curious- why are you in China if you hate it so much? Are you there for work or for a study-abroad program through university? I used to be an expatriate myself living in Taiwan and Hong Kong for certain number of years in each country; I am only sorry to hear that the Chinese people you have met are the bad apples though I think if you just kept exploring and kept an open-mind and started learning Mandarin- (I assume you don't know Mandarin)- then you would meet Chinese people who are different from the type you've encountered so far. You would be of much better value to your government or your military if you took the time to start learning Mandarin if you don't know some already and perhaps it will probably help you to understand the people there better.

BTW, be careful about generalizing all Chinese people as liars and cheaters, since as you said yourself, the people of Taiwan are also ethnically Han Chinese and so are a lot of people who live in Singapore, the Overseas Chinese/Hua Qiao communities throughout Southeast Asia, and all the Chinatowns across the rest of the world, and they are not like CCP members of the Beijing government and many do not support the CCP at all. And there are liars in any country and every nationality, regardless of what ethnicity they are, since lying and cheating is an unfortunate part of the dark side of human nature and some bad apples are just more prone to doing it.

I work here. Get paid a pretty penny to do so. As a result I'm happy to remain and continue to get paid a pretty damn good wage.
