WASHINGTON (AP) -- Lawmakers chastised the Bush administration on Wednesday for allowing the Chinese government to interrogate Chinese Muslim detainees at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and demanded that they be freed in the United States.

The two lawmakers, Reps. Bill Delahunt, D-Massachusetts, and Dana Rohrabacher, R-California, said the Uighurs -- members of a Chinese ethnic group -- should be compensated and apologized to for any abuse they may have suffered while held in the detention center at U.S. naval base in Cuba.

Uighurs fled their homeland in western China and settled in Afghanistan and Pakistan, only to be swept up in the U.S.-led dragnet for terrorists after the September 11 attacks.

A federal judge has called their imprisonment unlawful, but the Bush administration opposes releasing them unless they can go to a country other than the United States.

At a House Foreign Affairs hearing on interrogation methods at Guantanamo, Delahunt asked Justice Department Inspector General Glenn A. Fine to confirm that Chinese officials were let into the prison.

"We were informed that the Chinese government sent people to interview and interrogate the Uighurs," Fine said.

Additionally, Fine said, FBI officials reported that U.S. military personnel woke Uighurs every 15 minutes in a sleep-depravation interrogation tactic known as "the frequent flyer program" before the Chinese interrogators arrived.

"Did they draw the conclusion that this was, that we had American military personnel collaborating, doing this to, if you will, soften up the Uighurs for examination by Chinese communist agents?" Delahunt asked.

Fine answered: "They reported this was the technique that was used, what they call the frequent flyer program, to put the Uighurs in a position to be interrogated by the Chinese government."

Rohrabacher called the military's involvement "ridiculous." He said the Uighurs should be freed in the U.S.

"And we will call on the government to do so forthwith," Rohrabacher said. "And if it indeed looks like they've been unjustly treated that we offer some compensation as well as an apology."

Both lawmakers agreed to push the Bush administration to release the Uighurs in the U.S., although Delahunt predicted that Rohrabacher, a Republican, "will have more access to the powers that be than I will."

White House spokesman Tony Fratto declined to comment on the issue, and a spokesman for the State Department did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

Under U.S. law, the Uighur men cannot be sent back to China because they are likely to face persecution and torture. The administration has been seeking refuge for them in other nations, and five were sent to Albania in 2006. As of two months ago, 17 Uighurs remained at Guantanamo, awaiting countries to take them.

In March, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said the U.S. has "no desire to be the world's jailer, and we look forward to the day Guantanamo is shut down. And part of that solution is working with other countries to take people back under the right circumstances."

A report by the human rights group Center for Constitutional Rights indicates that officials from at least 17 countries have been allowed to interrogate their citizens being held at Guantanamo. The report accuses interrogators from six nations -- China, Uzbekistan, Libya, Jordan, Tajikistan and Tunisia -- of abusing Guantanamo detainees with the consent of U.S. officials.

The group has for the past seven years sought access to U.S. courts for detainees at Guantanamo.

Ha Ha! --- Say the truth, I am not angry, I just feel you were so disgusting. You understand history? You can only see a few so-called Middle East war. The war between Muslim and Jewish, have begun from 1400 years before.
And though the Millennium, the Muslim population has reached 1.4 billion, and more and more people have accepted the truth ,the number of Islam and Muslim countries has reach 50 and more. Islam is stepping steadily forward now in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas , especially in Europe .In the near future, Europe will become a Muslim world.

Therefore, the United States and the Jews are so in a hurry, they hurry out "terrorism", just wanting to stop the advance of Islam, but in vain.
The Jews, for thousands of years ,are butchered like pig by various nations, for Jews is a cursed nation.
In modern times, with the support of the big powers, the so-called State of Israel come in being , but Israel is just like a turtle ,protected by United States and a few other western countries .
Now, there are two million Arabs, among the six million domestic population of Israel , a country which is cornered , like a beast in the cage, without any true independence; a country without the help of US, will perish in one day if the United States turning a blind eye to it.

3, Suddenly ,you will find the thefts and violence are mounting .Before ,the thefts were sporadic ,when found ,the thieves just quickly ran away ; but now ,the theft and robbery are highly organized ,and you dared not even to catch them, for the thieves will injure or even kill you first.

4, They then upgrade the crimes network to merge with their community. Then the organized community can very quickly move into mass violence .At that time , though the native people are perhaps still in majority, but dare an individual confront their mass-mobilized community ?
So, you are appalled to discover that your land is taken away from you, your property is appropriated away from you, and you live in the shadow of the constant threat, all thanks to their peacefulness. .

5 ,Then the organized crime group ，including tens or hundreds of them ，began to "hound" you.Assault, harassment, and even killing become more and more frequent, and are repeating everywhere ,and happening at anytime.
What should you do?
Some have to flee their homeland, the land of their fathers and forefathers;
If nowhere to go, some have to live in fear and persecution, unless they are converted and became “they”.

6 OK, now, the place are beginning to be “ greenized”.
They now are the majority of the said place, or become the major group .The next came, they began to manifest their unique identity and call for their separation and independence ,of course separation and independence ,too, of the land they now occupy.
Some of them acted as “moderates” , and some appeared “ radicals” ,and some just enter into your system like a virus.
Ok ,when you are angry and want to use force to take back your belongings ,the “moderates ” came first ,appealing to peace, “ justice” ,and tolerance; but when the your force dismiss, the “ radicals” merged ,they loot ,they kill ,and the “moderates ” suddenly disappeared . In both cases, no matter what ,the “ virus” in your system , never loses time waning you .

7 ,And then ,you face only two choices: whether we knee down and surrender ,and watch our land split away from you , your people driven out from the home ,your people persecuted unless you are converted, So ,all the non-Muslim elements in the land are cleansed, the land is then “ greenized ”.
Or,
You have to fight and send them back to where they had come .

8 Some idiot ,of course their IQ must be under 60, appeal for peace even at the price of some of their ceded homeland being “ greenized” ,but will this “ greeniztion “ stop?
NO , this greeniztion will never stop ,unless the whole world are greenized .
Some time later ,at another place ,you will find the same process repeat ,the only difference is at what stage the place are “ in” ,in the first ,or in the second …….
