Now it presents a real question , those tibetan wants declare independnece , there is a peak of tibetan surged into the land of Hans in last fifty years , now those land's major population is tibetan , the area which they claim for is independence is larger than before CCP taken over , land used to belong to the Han (chinese ) , but now the tibetan independent supportor advocate since those land previous owned by Hans , now majority of its habitants are tibetan ethniclly , so those land previous owned by Han shall now belong to tibetan .
If you look at map of tibet from 50's , and the map the tibetan idendenpendence advocator suggests today , if you make a comparence, you will discover that , today what some tibetan cliam for this free " tibet " is a lot more larger than before the CCP take over .
Now , this presents a real question , the CHinese (HAN) may feel being rip off . remember how world war II beign , hitler insist to take over the poland danzig area , which most of his hibitant are german speaking citizen but the soverigntiy is utterly poland, hitler felt the danzig city shall belong to germany instead of poland . Then west are not keen on the idea ,invasion beginns , and war start .
What I trying to tell you is , the tibet problem is not as simple as you think . Peacefully solved this problem is best all around for both Han and tibetan , if handeled in a haste fashion , I am afarid the jewish / lebanoon sutation will occour between the Han (chinese) and tibetan , there will be endless blood shed between this two great Asian people . I just want you to see the pros and cons of the sutation without set off land mine for many generation to come .
this is for tibet , as for taiwan , I am afarid those american who eager to see taiwan declare independnece will dispoiinted , not all the taiwanese is keen to the idea, at least I have met many who oppose to the idea , even the taiwan cabinet can not declare independency and once had idea to set up a vote to decide the future of taiwan , thats wether to unite with the mainland china or just claim themself as a soverign nation . You see , even maianland china pose no threat and US encourage the taianese to declare independece , but the idea may not pass the public vote , since majority of taiwanese does not support taiwan independece just yet , what they advoate is netiher unite with CHina nor declare independnce , that what they want .
I think American are too eager to take advantage of some sutation and works at downfall of chinese without chencking the pros and cons of whats really happening around the East ASIA , many americans still have ambiguous understanding of Asian as a whole.
I just wish american can pay attention to the asians and show some respect the the Asians and try you best to conceal your racial superiorty complex , that way , we will have a peaceful and harmoinus East Asia .

I think you need to spend more time trying learn about America and Americans and not what you see made in Hollywood.

What I meant was no country would care about another country if it has no direct interest or threat to them. That is simply wasting resources and when you are running a country with limited resources and budget to balance.
