Has anyone here been a part of KFOR8? I was there and I have to say without a doubt in my mind we were cursed with the absolute worst Chain Of Command I've ever been with in my 13 year career. It's a shame, we had great soldiers who were professional and hard working. The Command however were the most unprofessional, immature leaders that lacked the least bit of integrity you would expect to find in a leader. They were embarrassing, trouble seeking and only thought with their egos. The company commader, and his 1SG were the worst offenders.

Our commander, even blasted us after the deployment. In an article from his hometown paper he mentioned he liked working with soldiers who had no direction in their lives and in the end they turned out to be great soldiers, stewards blah...blah...blah. We were already professionals and educated, heck we ran the hosptial we had to be! We were all quite stable in our personal relationships, education and professions when we arrived on day one. Too bad his ego didn't allow him to realize this.

Has any other KFOR8 members have issues while there. I'd love to hear them.
