Okay well that was just a test to see if i could post below is the real question.

Hello, I am not a vet but I work as a Independent living specialist with vets from vitenam, gulf war, and Irag war. My question is in reguards to one of my clients who was in the gulf war. One of his triggers are that when he is at the park with his children if he see's a soccer ball he will have a PTSD epsiode. Please, explain the correlation as I am eager to learn and wish to work better with my clients.
Thank You

Soccer is to Europe and Middle Eastern countries as "Football" is to us. There have been violent incidents that surround Soccer, beginning with the execution of the Iraqi Soccer team by the Hussein family when they were defeated in a championship, upon their return. Others making the news are systemic executions of soccer players, soccer field IED's etc., Lastly, in Afganistan, the country's soccer stadium was converted so to speak into the "Execution Field" where thousands of men, women, children were summarily executed. That may be the nexus you're looking for. I have other examples but maybe this will be what you're looking for.

So what about street lights at intersections and light polls?

At night you have the cover of darkness that provides you a sense of a command over the situation you're in. You have the advantage because of U.S military technology i,e., night vision equipment. Light poles and intersection street lights - You are a target, and a damn good one to boot. Top this off with the notion that light poles and intersection street lighting poles can and have been rigged with IED explosives.
Hope to be of service
