How do i request a reenlistment change? I was given a RE-4, but I have an honorable discharge. I was only 17 at the time. My parents pushed me to join while still in high school. After several months of service I found out that if I told them a certain thing and we all know what that was, I could be discharged.
Anyway I was young naive and stupid.
thanks for your input.

From what I find an RE4 spin code is permanent and unalterable. See the link. Near the bottom of the page it discusses spin codes.

I heard that certain State Guard Units accept RE-4's on a case-to-case basis. It will not be easy. You have to sell yourself by proving years of successful work experience and rsponsibility. Letters of recommendations from influential persons, volunteer work, active church participation, a good credit rating, and an absence of police difficulties will be examined. Good luck.
