I'm trying to find out what the code's mean in block's 26 and 27. Block 26 seperation code-KCA and Block 27 reentry code-RE-3Y. I was told that these where not very good codes. I was released on the VSI program with a Honorable Discharge. My wife asked if I wanted to go back in. She showed me this U.S. Code 505. It states that if you can complete your 20 years of service by the time you reached 60, you could get a waver. I got out with about 15 years under my belt. Both my wife and I know that If I went back in, I would have to pay back the money that I have already received. We were told this by a Navy reserve recruter. he also said that there wouldn't be any problems getting back in with these codes in block 26 & 27. I talked to an retired Air NG Master Sgt on line the other day and he stated that I could not get back in due to these codes not being good. I need to find out what they mean and if I can get back in by going guards as stated in U.S.C. 505. If anyone has the answer to this or knows of a Government department that I can check out eather on line or by calling them please let me know. Thank you. L. Weiss

Thank you for your help. I do have one question, the code in block 26 stated osvet discharged under VSI, it did not say anything about navets. Would that still apply to navets?
