I'm working on a Lat move into the 0656/0651 field and my wife and I were talking about possible places to be stationed at. She really wants to get stationed at MCRD San Diego does anyone here know if the 0656/0651 mos can even get stationed there? And/or what the likelyhood of being able to get stationed there if its available. Thanks in advance

Right now my mos is 0311

0651/0656's are stationed just about everywhere, from infantry battalion to MEF HQ. I am certain that MRCD San Diego rates a couple, but there may not be any available billets when you are looking to be stationed there. I see that as a very low probability of occuring, sorry.

I don't know of many billets at MCRDSD, but there are a slew of them for 0651/0656 and 0659 (E6-E9) at MCAS Miramar, which is about 15 miles north of MCRD. I'm there, and have quite a few comm bubbas.
