I'm currently in ET "A" school for the navy. I get to choose my orders or atleast get the first pick for orders since I'll be graduating within the top 10% of my school.

I asked about the possibilities of going FMF as an ET and was told its very possible. I am wondering what to expect from FMF as an ET. Are most fmf et's mobille comms? What kind of extra training would I have to go through? I understand that not many ets go FMF, but if anyone knows any information on this i'd appreciate it very much.

All I can tell you is be prepared. The training and lifestyle is different that what your accustomed to, as I am sure you're probably aware of. The saying "once a Marine, always a Marine" goes a long ways my friend, even acrossed services, for the time you'll be there.
But there will be some perks as well because of your position and branch of service as well. Try not to use it for personal gain, but more for obtaining your goal.

I never saw a ET in the FMF. I worked with some on ships.

I asked some more questions and its called Mobile Comms. You can either go with the seals or get stationed with marines. Mostly people get mobile comms with seals and I'm not quite up to that.
