I think you comm guys need to get up in the Wannabe forumns more often.

Because as a Grunt I was a radio operator for a period and when I went to Recon we would carry uhf,vhf,sat comm and motorolas and to me many guys did not wanna hump the extra 30 pounds.

But as a Recon guy Ill take an m-16 and a radio against anyone, that thing was my best friend.

Not only are you informed of what is going on but without that radio, people can be useless.

Comm is everything and I think personally it does not get stressed enough to polees.

Without comm you have nothing. Your basically a target sitting out there. Comm is everything in my opinion.

Besides, I noticed that the TRC 170 comes with 2 targets instead of the 1 standard to the TRC 27.
