I'm a former Marine Cpl.,a Vietnam Vet and a radio operator-2531 on a FAC Team.My tour in SEA was 1965-1966.I was assigned to the 1stBn.9thMarines 3rd MARDIV.I started out at Marble Mtn.I never knew this thread was here until today Gunny.I was also in 1stBn.8th Marines 2nd MARDIV from 1963 until 1965.I was also in the TACP while in 1/8.I'm also a Dominican Republic combat vet and was on a Med Cruise with 1/8.I did 4 years in the Marines and 16 years in the USAF.I retired with my 20 in June of 1984.

Reporting for duty...started out as a 2531, which is now 0621, but ran more wire than I care to remember along the bin go ditches of the "H" area on Camp Foster, Okinawa...Why couldn't the CO just use the base phone instead of us running a TA-312 to his office???? I'll never know.........
