I was wondering if it is appropriate to change my profile to Reserve-Inactive after DEP'ing in to the AF Reserve today? I don't want to disrespect those who have put in their time but on the other hand, the time in DEP count towards the IRR time on my contract. Thanks!

you are correct..being in DEP counts as IRR. I don't see a huge issue with this.
It's only when we get spouses claiming that they are AD or wannabees declaring themselves Active do we tend to get gumpy. There can be no freedom without sacrifice |
