I might be in the wrong room on this but I have a question regarding PPEP application.

I have an alcohol incident (over a decade old) and unauthorized use of a GCC on my record. Would these two descrepancies combined automatically cause an application to get shot down?

Any responses/ feedback to this are greatly appreciated!

Considered but not a show stopper........

If you meet the requirements, have the recommendation from the command, and the interview panel, you will be considered......If I were on your panel, I'd like an explanation for both and would want to see strong improvement since the incedents.

Don't try to hide the mis-steps, be very willing to discuss both subjects and prepare to show how you've improved.

Your profile says that you are in the Navy......

You would not be elegible for the PPEP until you complete at least two years of active duty in the Coast Guard.

Also, the program is very competitive. They are limited to only 10 participants at a time. (how many picked per round depends on how many graduate the round before).

FYI, the Navy has the Seaman to Admiral-21 program:

I appreciate all of the responses on this! My profile is inaccurate, I'm actually AD CG. Thanks again.
