To anyone who has been on any aircraft carrier, I just joined the navy and I am going in to an Aviation Boatswains Mate. My question concerns what Ill be able to bring on the ship with me. I understand sailors keep it at a minimal and obviously no contraband or anything. However i currently have a PDA Which has email access and all of my family and friends addresses and emails. Is this something that I could bring with me, or is there a reason why I wouldnt want to anyways. Any feedback is appreciated

You will have room for the PDA just make sure to keep it locked up. Good luck on what I'm sure (from experience) will be the greatest time in your life!!
