I am Prior Service Army with 3 1/2 years active then 4 years IRR. I recently rejoined into the Army Reserves and will be doing my first drill in a few weeks. I am curious about the AGR. A SGT in-processing the same day as I was to the unit mentioned it to me. How do I go about becoming AGR?

My dh has been an AGR for 11 yrs. He prepared an AGR packet, submited it, and after a several months we got orders to PCS. I like it and he likes it too, is different from Regular Army and still the same!
