I know the answer may seem obvious since all I have to do is go online. However, the recruiter I have been communicating with told me that for the Coast Guard, the maximum age is 35 without prior service. The GoCoastGuard site says the cutoff age is 39 and doesn't mention prior service.
Also, is this true for the Navy Reserves?

Thanks.

I think you've already guessed that 39 is the cut-off for prior service and 35 is for non-prior service enlistments in the USCG Reserve. Don't know about the Navy but I heard the Army National Guard is up to 40 these days.
Good luck! Cool

I think that was recently reduced back down, but I could be wrong about that.
