It was nice to read about someone who has been on the same side of the fence as I am this year. This is my first Valentines Day alone while Michael is away at training. He was at basic training for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Those weren't too bad though because I spent them with my family.
However, now he will be gone for Valentines Day and both of our birthdays. Those will be harder because Valentines Day isn't really something you spend with family. I live in a community where there aren't many military spouses, so it gets lonely when no one really understands.
Thanks for posting, it makes me feel not so alone.
