Thank you for sharing such a humorous story at the expense of your husband. I so needed the laughter and it brought back a long ago memory of my own husband, John(18yrs of service). Who is currently living in Maryland while me and my children 18 and 14 are living in Texas. My daughter happens to be a High School Senior this year. So we will join him after graduation in June...comes with the job! Anyway, back to the memory this triggered. We had been invited to another military families house for a BBQ one evening. Upon our arrival our children were introduced to the children they have and the kids all proceed out to the back yard onto a trampoline. Yes, I know you can see where this is going...after dinner the men wonder out back, while the women chose to stay inside, though we can hear everything going on around us. Hey, we are women after all! Well I over hear my husband challenging one of the girls(cheerleader no doubt)out back to some front flips on the trampoline. Before I could even complete the thought of this being a bad idea, the damage was done. YES, my husband got on that trampoline with much encouragement from the other men around and done a front flip, coming down and smacking his face against the metal base. In which I ran outside as I hear someone say, " that had to hurt". As John lifts his head and ask if he is missing teeth, laughter errupts and he says, "Who's next"....
