Good advise, get busy- and get used to it. You can't "get through his deployments" that's his job. He goes away for a living. You have to have your own jobs, hobbies, and interests besides your husband. Also, think about a switch from the chocolate eating to a run, trip to the gym or dance class once a day instead, it's healthier for you. You have to take care of yourself, not destroy yourself worrying. I have been doing this a long time, 6 months even a year is short especially if you have a goal to accomplish something and start working on it.
