For good, bad or indifferent... the Presidential Decision for 2008 has been made. So the purpose for which this forum was created has been accomplished.

Let's start winding-down the topics and/or taking them back to the "General Discussion" or to the "Point/Counterpoint" areas. When the activity is shifted back over (hopefully in the next few days), this forum will go 'bye-bye'.

With president elect Obama headed towards the White House, January 2009, I would not be a bit surprised if the new Democratic president responds in the self same manner, as did United Kingdom's prime minister Gordon Brown, who used anti-terrorism laws to grasp money from the world's organized crimewave.

From my analyis, of late, all the money taken from Icelandic banks does not add up to legal accounts that get reported in the news.

If you also count what others claim to have been taken, and the bottmline of that in these reported banks when it was taken over by either London or Iceland then the greatest losers will be those hard working drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes who set money in those offshore investments, but they would never waltz into a court of law, to reclaim it, once it has been taken.

If Citicorp owns BanaMex, the largest bank in Mexico with branches to Easter Island, then when president Obama pulls the proverbial plug on Americas' crime syndicate it will send economic thunder clap shockwaves from Canada to South America, as Europe, Asia, Japan, Africa and Saudi Arabia follows suit!

Please also note that many nations have already made it possible through national laws, for its citizens, to get 100% of their money back.
