What is your definition of change, what do expect to see during the 1st year of the Obama administration

Definition is a reversal of the bush policies.
1st year I expect the French Foreign Legion to be helping in combat operations in AF. I doubt regular French forces will be on the ground in dangerous areas of AF. I expect improved relations with our allies. I expect more help for kids going to college in the form of loans and grants. I expect a greater emphasis on alternative energy R&D. I expect we will begin to pull out of Iraq and that defense spending will be cut. I expect billions to be set aside for infrastructure improvements. I expect that by the end of the first year of his presidency the economy will have begun to improve. It will be a slow but steady improvement. I expect missile defense spending to be slashed and quite possibly the F35 will be canceled. I expect the big 3 auto manufacturers will be bailed out. Although 1 maybe allowed to fail, probably Chrysler. I expect we will come in line with other western economies on global warming. More money will be allocated to science. Stem cell research will be encouraged. I think that is enough for the first year. Health care will not be achieved until economy is back on track. Israel and Palestine will be an ongoing process as will NK and Iran. I expect results in these areas by the end of Obama' first term. |

he will get into office and realize how much he was dreaming and then start making excuses why he cant do anything... |

I have a boss who uses the expression: "Teamwork makes the dream work" No president can do it by himself; but, there it much he can accomplish if he is able to inspire we the people to achieve it for ourselves. |

Honestly Outlaw, Any person filling that seat now is going to go through some very difficult times and after being briefed of our affairs of office..It will be a real eye-opener. IF he does manage to take office in January..I will respect him as our CIC but I will also hold him accountable to fulfill his promises to the people who worship him as their saviour. Maybe he should have run on a slogan of "Roll Back the Policies", instead of "Change". He could have used the Walmart smiley face on his signs. "Obama: Roll Back the Policies!  " |
