Irony..President-elect Obama couldn't be hired by his own administration:

Be ready to tell all, if you want to work in a high-ranking post in the Obama administration.
In fact, be ready to dig through all your old documents to find all of your resumes and biographical statements for the last decade.

The seven-page questionnaire includes 63 requests for records. Some of those requests are for information related to your spouse or grown children.

You'll need to list every place you've lived and anybody with whom you've lived.

Questions about conflicts of interest include asking whether you or your family has been affiliated with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or insurance giant AIG.

Under Domestic Help, you'll be asked the immigration status of your housekeepers, nannies, chauffeurs and yard workers.

The questionnaire asks whether you've sent any e-mails, text messages or instant messages that might embarrass you.

You also will be asked to provide links to your blog or Facebook page, any screen names you use on the Internet and any aliases you have. Again, the administration is looking for anything about you that might be, "a possible embarrassment to you, your family, or the president-elect."

Stephanie Cutter, a spokeswoman for the transition office, tells The New York Times this vetting process is part of Obama's commitment of changing the way Washington does business.

LOL. However, considering who the unvetted president will be, the vetting of administration officials is a positive step.

It's clear that 99% of republicans could not work for Obama which is a good thing. Larry Craig, Mark Foley, Ted Stevens, Tedd Haggard, rush Limbaugh, dick cheney, the entire bush family, karl rove, the list is endless.

The main issue in the thread passed right over your pointed little head, didn't it?

Well, not every Democrat can work for Obama either.

His new ethics questions on this Employment Application is laughable. How can you expect to find anyone in this country to be perfectly spotless? Unless that person is a new born baby.

Itismarine, you are correct, Obama would not pass the mustard on his own Employment ethics application.

Fact is, President Elect Obama wants to seriously govern and take care of what is important to the American people. Not be bogged down by every tiny piece of dirt blogger's, the RNC, etc. can dig up on his appointee's, and believe me, these people are chomping at the bit to start discrediting the President Elect and his appointee's. This shows how the President Elect cares about the American people, the quality he expects from his subordinates, and how he respects his office.

Looks like the problem is that you and itis can't read. No one has said that disclosure of "potentially embarassing" information is a disqualifier. It's just that the administration wants to know BEFORE you get hired, not after.

I think the main issue with this thread is...

it's funny that the "rabid right-wing-whack-jobs" consider themselves relevant anymore.

That's not too high for your "pointy-little-head", is it???

The questionaire also asks if you ever owned a gun. That's a heavy hint which direction the wind is going to blow - -

I think Obama should have to answer all those questions first> He can't even pass a security clearance . Nor can he provide a Real birth Certificate. And Rev. Wright is right back by his side.
