Coming from the New Yorker this is appalling and unacceptable. No matter what they do there seems to be a change in the air. I just do not feel, see, or hear the same kind of excitment for McCain that I do for Obama.....
No matter how desperate the intrests who would love, just love a third and fourth Bush term get they will not fool the American people again with this kind of garbage... |

Yep, it's just terrible! And you know what, I know of absolutely no conservative who reads this magazine. Maybe the Hillary people are taking part in a vast conspiracy to make Obama look bad. It is New York, it appears to be a Democratic base that reads it...

People get "excited" about sports events, school grades or a new car. They should have confidence in their political leaders, something that is sadly lacking in this day and age as there is little justification for confidence with regard to either candidate. |

I'm more concerned with those who are too lazy to actually read the article and think : Obama must be a Muslim terrorist who hates America I seen it there on that book cover, and everyone keeps saying it. The only problem with this caricature is that all the Obama is a Muslim, his wife hates America, and he wants to destroy our country crowd is that they don't know SATIRE from SHINOLA.
The artist and the New Yorker magazine may think they are ridiculing idiots who don't know S from S, but I expect the cover is even now winding it's way around the Internet and being touted as "SEE, SEE EVEN the LIBERALS think Obama is a Muslim. "  |

Inside Story: Haven't read yet. I'm voting for Mccain anyway, but if the magazine cover used Mccain and his wife and did a satirical cover of equally disdainful art, I'd be angry. And... I'd get over it. How many of you Obamabots were just as disgusted when the Time Magazine disrespected the flag raising on Iwo Jima by distoring the the event on it's cover? http://img.timeinc.net/time/images/covers/asia/2008/20080428_107.jpg None????
