Hello all. My husband is appealing his claim for loss of use of his hand. After we sent in the appeal the VA sent him to a specialist to have a prosthetic made for him. Do we need to get the records from that doctor or will the VA already have it in their paperwork? The VA also gave him the Dragon program since it was his dominate hand that was injured and he can not write now. Also the VA rated him per finger instead of his whole hand. Will this help him get the rating for the whole hand which is quite more than each finger? Thank you for any help.
