Hi Sgt. Leo,

After almost 19 years of research I finally found out where my Dad was in WWII. He was a member of the 766th FA in Italy.

You advice and help me connect with another person whose Dad was in my Dad's unit.

He had a copy of the original map and details of the towns that they went through and when during their time in Italy.

Thanks for all of your help and encouragement in keeping me going on finding this out. My family is delighted know where Dad and Grandpa was in WWII.

Since he was a cook I bought a WWII edition of the TM 10-411 and TM 10-405 cook and baking manuals. My Daughter had 6 friends over and they whipped up a half of batch of the amry issue cake receipe. It made over 100 cupcakes and they all agreed that for an army receipe it was pretty good.

Thanks again for all of your insight. I'll pay back your help by helping another friend figure out where her Dad was in Germany.

Thanks so much!

Neal Cronin

Way to go, Sgt. Leo! We don't often see this kind of follow up and expression of appreciation...(link here to see the original thread). Keep up the good work.
