One suggestion for the DVG was a way to reach Veterans not on milcom/on-line.
Thus ~ The DVG Newsletter was born!

The Newsletter can be read electronically, printed on 8.5x11 or 11x17 and distributed to Veterans not on-line, in the lobby or library of your local Veterans Center, or anywhere else you see required essential.

We DVG folks are some of the greatest people walking this planet.

As I think back to last year and we were just tossing around a couple of ideas on how a bunch of old vets could make a difference for our brothers and sisters, I never dreamed this is where we would be at any time.

Our Fair Lady has proved it's not only about vets helping other vets. It is about citizens of this great nation being willing to step up and show they are thankful for the guys and gals who are willing to *stand in the gap and make up the hedge that keeps this nation the land of the free because on the brave.

* I read that in my favorite book.

Greetings and special blessings to one and all.

This is great, thank you Linda and all who had a part in this.

I am doing fine, just very busy the last few weeks.

Great job, Linda---I'm passing the newsletter on to a non-profit in Michigan that does some work with Disabled Vets...many hands make for lighter lifting!

That is a great newsletter. I now have pictures of some of the guys I post with here on Mil.Com. Someday I would like to get together with some of you and socialize. I am a member of our Am Legion and VFW post here and we keep pretty busy. Last Friday I was part of our Legion color guard that comes out to the football games to raise the flag before the game..then two of us fire a two gun salute at the kickoff. The crowd always loves it and expects it. My town is very patriotic and respects the flag and our military. Keep the newsletter going.
