These discussion areas, as well as those on news articles on the main Military.com website are here for the purpose of communication and entertainment. Before you begin, please take a moment to review the Military.com User Agreement. In the Military.com User Agreement you will find what is and is not acceptable behavior in the forums. We recommend that you read the entire User Agreement, but give particular attention to paragraph 6 (which covers a wide range of disruptions); and paragraph 11 (which states the consequences of such disruptions).

Please note that OUTSIDE LINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED in these forums. Unless you are linking within Military.com, to a "dot-mil" website, a "dot-gov" website or to one found in our Military and Veteran Associations page, OUTSIDE LINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Some of our areas (such as the Hot Topics forums) are meant to be places where members can go and mix it up a bit. It is accepted that the debate in these forums will be more heated and acrimonious than other forums at Military.com. Vigorous debate is expected and encouraged, so a thick skin is sometimes needed here. If the level of debate is too intense for you, there are many other forums here at Military.com that are more sedate and less "In Your Face". You may want to try them out. If certain posters tend to enrage you, you can either ignore them, or debate them. Either way, the material must be in line with the Military.com User Agreement.

If you believe a member has violated the Military.com User Agreement, please contact your in-house Moderator. Just click on their screen-name and then "View Public Profile". In their public profile page, you will see a link to "Send A Message" on the upper left-hand side of the profile page (immediately left of the person's name). If you let the Moderator know who is offending and where, the Forums Moderator Team will do the rest. For all other issues, including technical support, you may email our Customer Service Office.

Don't discuss future destinations or ports of call!

Don't discuss future operations or missions!

Don't discuss dates and times of when we will be in port or conducting exercises!

Don't discuss readiness issues and numbers!

Don't discuss specific training equipment!

Don't discuss people's names and billets in conjunction with operations!

Don't speculate about future operations!

Don't spread rumors about operations!

Don't assume the enemy is not trying to collect information on you so he can kill you, he is!

Be smart, use your head, and always think OPSEC when using these forums, email or phone!
