...yeah right, that'll happen. Along those lines though, a girl friend and I were contemplating how great it would be to have everything we need on one website. We researched a bit and really didn't find anything. This excited us and we were thinking of putting something like that together ourselves. We do need some input from other fellow "movers". Would you help us by giving us your opinion?
What would you look for in such a website? Would user generated be good. Or is there a website that already has everything? Which resources do you need when you are pcs-ing?
We would really love your input and if we have a "go" then start putting it together....
Sincerely
Susanna

there already is one. SmartWebMove. While it is specifically Navy, certain others are authorized to set up their PCS move as well. and even if you cannot, all of the official weight limits and resources are open to everyone.

Hi - GermanKat83 and Mrsjvb for your answers. The Navy site is very comprehensive.
I am hoping for a few more ideas of what someone would like to see in a website. In the meantime I'll scour this PCS board and pick out the questions. If it's asked here there is a need to know!
Keep it coming!

The link that GermanKat put up is a great tool and has been invaluable to me while preparing for our upcoming move from the UK back stateside. It's the military onesource website. Just use their "Plan my move" tool. It creates a calender, to do lists, pretty much everything you need. I even got a print out of phone numbers for here at this base and phone numbers for Ft. Stewart where we'll be headed for housing, I.D. sections, and every military office that you will most likely have to deal with during your move.
