Curiosity question: For those who have recently attended this course what daily uniform did you wear? Thanks in advance.

When I was there (about a year and a half ago) I wore ODUs.

now that you have the unofficial historical points of view, look to your orders and any welcome aboard info on the Tracens Website for whay YOU need to bring to wear.

Mightyz90_93,
Done and done and that's why I posted the curiosity question. I checked my own orders through the airport terminal in DA and they are not yet ready for execution, but I have been slated for the upcoming class; therefore I have not received them. I do not like waiting to receive orders to start preparing for schools, PCS, etc. I like to plan ahead. As far as TRACEN Yorktown's website providing course information for Maritime SAR Planning: You will receive a “Welcome Aboard” e-mail indicating applicable uniform, pre-arrival reading assignments and basic navigation knowledge expected of every SAR school student prior to arrival. Thank you for the info jade9202. |

Now - does it matter that much to know too early? I am sure you can get into ODU, Trops or Bravos at the drop of a hat, right? (Pretty sure it would be one of those!) |

lol...of course...it's the OCD side of me that makes me feel the need to prepare for everything early.
