Mr. Mike Mazziotta, What's up buddy? Haven't talked to you in over 10 years since we went to A school and we were skateboarding/jogging partners. Can't believe it's already been a decade. The Broncos still suck by the way lol (always getting beat by my Colts). Remember that cross country trip we made from VA to Denver in my little 88 "BRONCO" II..... then you decided half way to not make the whole trip lol... Too funny man. Good times, good times.
Hit me up man....I saw that you added me on myspace, but it took me a while to add ya cause I never log on there. Let me know what's the happenings my man,
Chuck Noonan RD "A" School class 03-98 LOL

Hey Maz, heard the news and am sorry, man. This is Frank Clarke, I was in the same class as Froberg, Coleman, Parker, all those clowns. I seem to recall a hellacious white water rafting trip..."Go Shorty!", haha.

I'm being forced out, too (medical). Do yourself a favor, man; get a copy of your medical record and go the VA YESTERDAY to see about any benefits you might be entitled to. I've got a neighbor that didn't know anything about it after getting out after the Gulf War. After he talked to an old buddy over 10 years later, he went to the VA with his record, thinking it was just a shot in the dark. Now he's getting disability at 60% tax-free for the rest of his life. I'll be out in about six months, and you'd better believe I'm getting EVERYTHING documented!

I'm doing a lot of research on employment possibilities once I'm out, if you want any of the resources I've found, shoot me an email frank.b.clarke@uscg.mil. Good luck, and take care, man.

Bottom line is I got screwed over by two really pathetic Officers, who had absolutely know intention of ever trying to help me and only wanted me to fail. Tuff to have an Officer lie about and the next thing you know your up for discharge. I wasn't able to defend myself adequately since I did not have that Officer buddy system like them.

I went through a similar situation where an ensign in medical tried to get me discharged over some b.s. because he did not like me over some personal beef.

When my HS Chief aboard my ship got the ensign's report recommending my discharge he was furious and he went straight to our X.O.

My X.O. had a little talk with that pathetic little egomaniac ensign and his report was changed!

A complete 180 in recommendation from that ensign after getting called onto the carpet by my righteous X.O.!

I saw first hand how one officer can try to affect your whole life because he does not like you. A boot ensign no less, I could not imagine a LT with some juice wanting you out.

Keep your head up and quit looking back because it is taking away from your focus on getting that job you deserve.

I hope that everything works out great for you and your family. If you can survive several alpats away from your family you can survive anything my friend! Stay positive!

A fellow mushroom and Honorably Discharged veteran.

By the way, how is MCPO Bunch doing? When did he retire? He was a living legend when I went through RD School.

I still have a humorous award hanging on my wall that he gave me on my graduation. MCPO Bunch is the definition of "Salty Dog" and a Chief!
