I was with the 169th but not C co. A co. then 43rd
the went up to B co. I drove 10 ton so was back and forth on QL 20 moving equipment all the time.
The only guy I remember from C co. was a guy name Dubey who transfered from the 43rd DT. He was a 10 ton driver.welcome home. Oh ye, I just remembered
when C co. built the whore house across the road from the compound. I of course never went in. Or was it D co. I forget but I think it was C co.

Thanks, pop never said a word about a whore house--of course he wouldn't.

Thanks for the links.

Dubey or Darby? Anyway, the ***** house was on the compound, just inside the gate on the left. When the artillary unit and crew took direct hit, a schnook brought out a new 155 and crew. It blew the *****house down. So we moved it across the road where I ran it and sold beer and sodas. For top seargent Q and the men.....for moral was down. The Greek.
