combat eng school at ft belvior when i was in they were still useing it curious because i heard they did a excellant job there .why did they switch to ft lenardwood.i was serveing in the early 70,s
When I was in Ft. Lost in the woods, in 68 all 12b mos's were there. Also all construction equip operators,( 62E) were there. When I came back from the Nam I went to FT. Belvoir in late 70 & I think the 12b school was still at Ft Leonard wood?? Seem at Belvoir they had engineer OCS & different engineer trade schools, ( Elec. Plumber, Mason. etc.)

I was at lost in the woods in summer of 1980 as a 12f, trained on AVLB's/CEV-m728/m113's in direct support of sappers. We did Bailey's and other bridge work as well as extensive demolition training, c4/tnt/bangalore/shape's/mines and many others boom boOM BOOM....damn I miss that stuff
