Hey all,
I'm currently trying to reclass to EOD. Once I get my damned ERB straight I'll be good to go.
But my question is, other then bomb squads, what opportunities are there after a stint with EOD? I was imagining the private security sector, but a lot of that seems to be focused around dog work. Does EOD work with bomb dogs ever?
What really interests me in EOD is being on a presidential team, or some kind of high level official VIP team. How likely, or difficult is it to get into that?

VIPs are part of the EOD mission while in the military. Depending on your unit, it is likely you will do a lot of these in your career.

You will also be instantly qualified as a Tech 2 in the UXO field. For Tech 2's, work is available both in the U.S. as well as overseas.
