O.N. is never above self-promotion, and ironically is a prime benefactor of the very celebrity worship he decries. But we can all agree with O.N. on this...
Rather than serving up more blather about Jeremiah Wright, editors, producers and program directors would better serve us all by sending their commentators and correspondents out to cover those who have volunteered to serve in our military.

You're right on the money on this matter Ollie North. Instead of playing to the entertainment value of the constant whiners, like Jeremiah Wright (as I see it, he is hardly one fit to be called a reverend to the love of God) who is in a constant & distorted ranting over what his perceptions are over "old spilled milk". In doing so, he does more harm to his own flock, as well as to those impressionable young minds who are moved by his errant words. No country is perfect with regard to the relations among the various races, ethnicities, sexes, & beliefs; but I do agree with Ollie North that this nation has come a long way, & is indeed a lot better off going into our future; then Mr. Wright, most apparently, perceives. To get a clearer perspective on this, one just has to look at the way too many countries & regions of the World where most severe discriminatory practices still go on every second of every minute of every day. To this thought, many so-called nations of the continent of Africa, along with the Middle Eastern Region come vividly to mind. In these areas slavery, rapine, piracy, kidnapping, animalistic oppression, & the most depraved genocidal murder still abound...without abatement of any kind. Anyway, just some thoughts on this issue....

If linking Senator Obama to Wright is fair, then a much stronger link that bears scrutiny is Bob Jones, to North. Ok. Colonel North has been accused of alot more substantial flaws than anything you've laid out. He's also been proven to hold America's and it's warrior's interests foremost in his actions. Either you don't know what he does with almost all of his spare time, or you're ignoring it.
There was no real political reason for him to go into a warzone five times to hang with the troops. He just likes us. He just believes in us.
He doesn't think we deserve to die for the God-d****d US-KKK of A because our chickens have come home to roost. He doesn't believe Wright, as quoted in BARRACK OBAMA's book, 'Memories Of My Father': "White folks greed drives a world in need."
And for all your effort, it doesn't matter what Ollie thinks. He could never have put pen to paper, and the fact that Obama at least tolerated Wright's rhetoric, if not outright believed it, in order to secure the Chicago church's powerbase would still be an undeniable truth.

I think Obama just might believe Wright's lunacy, and if he doesn't he was certainly willing to exploit it and the sentiments of division and hatred it evoked in order to get him elected a couple of times.

Wright should be discussed so as to expose him as the demagogue he is, to expose his lies, to teach his followers the truth. You cut out cancers, don't you. North would be president. we need someone with a christian background who will let GOD lead this nation and someone with enough guts to say enough is enough.
