Ollie's doctrine is 'Be prepared to jump in to help any military 'fight terrorists', unless they're your own terrorists'.

Moslem Philippinos fought King Philip's Spaniards 400 years ago, now Ollie thinks America can whup 'em? This is a battle for home and survival opposed by temporary 'overseas deployments'- heroic or otherwise.

Colonel North is right. The snide little anti-Bush and "We're terrorists too" remarks sound suspiciously like juvenile liberal brainwashing is present. The man is one of the few media spokespersons that has the courage to bash the mainstream media for its lack of any depth in reporting on the contributions of service people.
When do people like you two above, think its time to fight terrorists that have an agenda to wipe all non-Muslims off the face of the earth?

I support O.N's reporting of positive stories about our Military. But his op-eds are sometimes classic examples of " fallacious argument "... in fact, multiple layers of such as is the style of all partisan pundits these days. "Straw Man"... "ad hominem"... "equivocation"... whatever. To me at least, it seems LTC(ret) North uses op-eds like this for free self-promotion, free promotion of his employer who has $Millions if not $Billions to do its own promotions, and for perpetuating a myth about the "mainstream media" of which he is a part... and a handsomely paid part, I imagine. The drop in fatalities has received frequent and multiple headlines. As to O.N.'s allegations, didn't anyone notice no numbers are included in these allegations? And to the families of those who lost love ones this month... where's the "good news?"

Because LTC North mentions his show you ignore the rest of what was said in the same breath? I also notice how you like to switch off your opinion about whether LTC North uses ghost writers or not. As for most un-military way of refering to President Bush and LTC North, you really out to remember a small bit military bearing, even if you don't respect the man or woman, you will respect the rank.

As for Popsiq, we are supporting our allies. We aren't gonna make friends with Islamic extremists, and I'm sure you have decryed "Cowboy Diplomacy" in past, what do you stand for, alone or with allies?

TO ALL MY HEROES:
I am not a member, but I am a Patriot. I have a question for the troops. I hear all the fighting out here against the war and for the war, and I would like to know how you all feel. That is what matters most to me. We hear they should bring you home and we hear that you should stay. Since when did the people that are not in the military make these decisions? My heroes in the military will never be defeated and I'm positive you will never surrender. Am I correct? I would like to hear it from you not them.
