Artillery brings dignity to what would otherwise be just a brawl.

I thought you all might appreciate this. I got a call the other night from one of the supervisors of the cleaning crew about one of my officers. For those of you who dont know, there is a small army of support people at the Capitol to keep things running. Electricians, plumbers, HVAC, etc. One group handles the constant cleaning that goes on, imagine a complete field day of the Capitol every night. This includes waxing the tile floors. One of my rookies disregarded the wet wax signs and walked through about 20 yards of wet wax near the Senate main door. All of us who have waxed floors on Thursday nights can appreciate how pi**ed they were. It took three hours they didnt have, to strip and re-wax the floor. Needless to say, after being counselled, the new officer will not do that again.
I always got a big laugh when the S Sections did a complete field day at the hanger in teh Admin sections....striping the floors, rewaxing them making them shine for the CO.....lol They did not work 12 on 12 off like us wrench turners... It was even better when the SgtMjr got gungy....lol
