Is it not THE best freaking feeling in the world, to be a US Marine? I've done a lot of things since leaving active duty. I was Police Officer, both county and city, and now a Firefighter. Nothing compares to my brief tour in the Marine Corps. The only small regret I have is not staying in longer and exeriencing more of the Marine Corps outside my MOS and few duty stations. I envy the young Marines of today, those who are still in, and the ones just starting out as boots. They truly have the world by the balls do they not?. I love coming here and talking to you Leathernecks. God bless the Marine Corps. Ooh Rah!

Amen bro!

Being a Marine for me wasn't/isn't the "end all to be all," but it's a great accomplishment in itself!

I have a great civilian career now which I've held for three years, and I just got promoted. But in accomplishments, that's second to my Marine Corps years!
