How about this?

On fridays the Barracks will hold a "Happy Hour". During happy hour, all branches of the military are invited to the barracks for e-beers? Wink

Doesn't have to be for only an hour though. Just make it open all night. I mean, that's what you'd dream of, for a real happy hour, right? e-beers all night?

Not a good idea......it will start e-fights and e-bashing between services.

And that is not allowed here.

Bro, hate to tell you this, but other military vets are welcome to post here already within reason. This is the Barracks. Nobody ever said it was the Marine Barracks

The top of the fourm says...
quote:
Marine Barracks area for Marine to Marine discussions.
But, anyone may post, if they have something "relevant" to the scope of the fourm (which is Marine to Marine discussions). I was just thinking along the lines of a coordinated get-together.
quote:
e-fights and e-bashing between services.
e-fights and e-bashings, of a serious nature, aren't allowed anywhere, regardless of the fourm name.

Sorry, pizzant. According to your profile you were a Marine. You know, part of the Brotherhood. We tend to call each other Bro/(Sis) or Brother's and Sister's.

Something you seem to know nothing about. So now, why don't you carry your Non-Brotherhood azz right on out the door.

Be very careful how you respond. Wink

Great idea, Mike. I enjoy it when members from the other branches come over and post; the discussions are usually quite lively. I believe many more would come over if you posted an open invite on thier forums. We'll just have to be extra vigilant for the couple of azzholes who want to start something. Mad

This classic and a perfect example of what most people are complaining about

Line 1 calls another poster Pizzant
Tells him to leave
Then threatens him

why is this tolerated? at any any level?

3rd Tank Bn Maint. was a tight platoon and took care of our own..that was a long time ago.

I would have loved it. Wink So what should I call you then? Nothing I ever do call you by seems to be good enough.

So if you are not a Brother Marine, what shall it be Mr. Troublemaker? Please give me a P.C. List of your choice and I shall pick one. Oh, and do not even try having me call you just Marine. You already blew that one right out of the water.

Excuse me Mr. Perfect, but did you at anytime in my first post see anything that was less than professional and polite? Somebody wants to be a smartazz to me I know how to dish it right back.

Oh and you've got mail.

Edit to add!!!!!! Just how in the hell is reminding someone to "Be very careful how you respond." be concidered a threat?

I like the idea.

As many of you've probably noticed, a few of us (Ms Hulin, that chucklehead-BootE1, FEM, TrBrooks, Sgt Shaw occasionally, and Karl a.k.a as me)BS in our Friday Beer Garden BS thread about everyday of the week. About anything and everything, and usually not about anything important. Just general BS'n. Anyone can add their two cents. The more the merrier. Not once has anyone serioulsy bashed anyone else there that I can recall. Its all good. We need a thread where this can happen; where those who are wrapped too tight for their own good, can avoid if they want and not get their little panties in a twist reading it.
