The E-club used to be the Shiznit when it was run by Marines. I had some good times in the one in sunny San Mateo (7th Marines was there then). What's it like these days?

Lejuene E clubs were not exactly a "happening" place in the 80s, But one could go there with 10 bucks get all tore up and stagger back to the barracks with no trouble. If you were chick hunting go to town.

Artillery brings dignity to what would otherwise be just a brawl.

The best e-club I have ever been to was the one we had at the Barracks in Charleston. The CO at the time, made a decision to let any Marine under the age of 21 to drink beer in the club. That way, it was a controlled environment and you could stagger across the parking lot to the barracks. But God help you if you went out in town after drinking in the club. Since the Marines ran it, we actually made a profit for the Ball. There was good food from the grill, good choice of beer and on Friday and Sat nights they had a DJ come in. There was also a big screen TV in one of the rooms for sports etc. Since the Border Patrol took over the facilities, they actually tore the building down.

Back when I could go to the E-Club, I don't think women had been invented yet, but who cares, when ya got lots of cheap beer!!!! Besides, I've heard the more beer ya get, the thinner fat chicks get. Its a good weight control program for 'em.

back in the mid-80's IMo the Long Beach naval station E-Club, Del Mar e-club, and the NTC in SanDiego had the best e-clubs. 32nd Street in SD was good as well.

They all their share of good fat women.

I think the DelMar E-club closed in 1997.

Something about the foundation sinking on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
